May 1st - Open Burn Ban in Effect for Oldham County
Open Burning is now prohibited in Oldham County until September 30th in the areas declared as non-attainment. None of the Ballardsville Fire District is located in this area, but residence must still comply with Local & State laws when burning. Contact the Ballardsville Fire District (222-1593) or Oldham County Dispatch (222-0111) for more information.

The Ballardsville Fire Department is once again revving up for our “Cruisin’ for the Kids” Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show to raise money for the WHAS Crusade For Children. This is our 5th year and we hope to top last years total of $2,939.51!
