Oldham County Lost a Hero
September 10
Oldham County lost a true hero today. I do not use that term lightly. Retired Oldham County EMS Paramedic EJ Mike passed away from complications caused by COVID 19. EJ continued working for the VA and the University of Louisville Hospital after retiring from OCEMS. In addition to being a Paramedic, EJ was a PA. Westport Structure Fire
Ballardsville Fire and Rescue, December 15
At 3:15 am Sunday December 15th, Ballardsville Fire responded to assist Westport Fire with a working structure fire with possible rescues. The fire took almost 2 hours to control, but thankfully everyone got out ok, and no one was injured from the fire.
